INGREDIENTS REQUIRED
FOR MAKING HARE MATAR KI DAL:
1. Fresh green peas(matar)- 2 cups
2. Tomatoes-2
3. Onion-1
4. Ginger-garlic paste – 2 tbsp
5. Green chilies- 2
6. Turmeric powder – ½ tsp
7. Red chili powder- 1 tsp
8. Coriander powder-2 tsp
9. Garam masala powder- ½ tsp
10. Amchur powder – 1 tsp
FOR TEMPERING:
1. Ghee – 2 tsp
2. Cumin seeds – ½ tsp
3. Mustard seeds – ½ tsp
4. Hing – ¼ tsp
5. Curry leaves – 1 string
6. Dry red chilies – 3
METHODS OF MAKING HARE MATAR KI DAL OR GREEN PEAS
DAL:

Saute
onion for a while until it becomes light brown. Add
ginger- garlic paste and fry till the raw smell of ginger and garlic goes away.

Add
2 cups water and let it cook for 15 minutes. (If you are using pressure cooker,
cover the lid and let it cook until one whistle.)
