EASY CHICKEN 65 RECIPE:
CHICKEN
65 is a spicy, deep-fried chicken dish originated from hotel Buhari, Chennai as
an entrée or a quick snack. It has become a popular appetizer in most of the
restaurants in south India as well as all over India.
CHICKEN 65 is a delicious, spicy and hot south Indian style boneless chicken starter. This
immensely popular dish is made with marinating and fried chicken bites coated
with flour, curry leaves and spices. There are many variations to this dish. Curry
leaves and garlic are the key ingredients in this recipe.

65 is a quick and easy chicken recipe to make and it is a perfect restaurant
style starter. You do not need to rush the restaurant anymore if you have all
the ingredients at home for the lovely party appetizer.
INGREDIENTS FOR
CHICKEN 65 RECIPE:

Boneless
chicken- 500 grams
2.
Ginger-garlic
paste – 1 tbsp
3.
Salt
4.
Kashmiri
red chili powder – 1 tsp
5.
Red
chili powder – 1 tsp
6.
Garam
masala – ½ tsp
7.
Turmeric
powder – ½ tsp
8.
Black
pepper powder – 1 tsp
9.
Lemon
juice – 2 tbsp
10. Soy sauce – 1 tsp
11. Corn flour – 2 tbsp
12. Maida or refined flour – 2 tbsp
13. Egg -1
14. Oil for deep-frying
For tempering:
1. Oil – 2 tsp
2. Chopped garlic – 2 tbsp
3. Curry leaves – 2 tbsp
4. Green chili – 3 to 4
5. Chili – garlic sauce – 1 tbsp
Prepation for
chicken 65 recipe:
1. Clean the chicken pieces properly
and put the chicken in a big bowl.
2. For marination add salt, chili powder, Kashmiri
chili powder, turmeric powder, black pepper powder, garam masala, ginger garlic
paste, soy sauce and lemon juice. Mix very well and keep it aside for at least 30 minutes
for marination.
3. Now add corn flour, refined flour
and egg and mix well.
4. Mix well.
How to make chicken 65 recipe:
1. Heat oil in a kadhai or pan for
deep-frying the marinated chicken pieces.
2. Now add the marinated chicken
pieces in the hot oil one by one.
3. Fry the chicken pieces until it
cooked properly and become golden brown in colour.
4. Fry all chicken in batches and
keep on a plate.
5. Again, heat 2 tbsp oil in a pan
and add chopped garlic in it. Saute for a while.
6. Add curry leaves and green chili
and saute.
7. Add chili garlic sauce.
8. Add fried chicken in the sauce and
toss it nicely until all the ingredients coated on chicken pieces.
9. Chicken 65 is ready to serve. Serve
hot as starter, appetizer or as a snack any time of the day.
