Chilli chicken is an Indo-chinese chicken
dish. It is popular as an Indian streetfood as well as a starter in
restaurants. Learn how to make chilli chicken with ease by following the steps
given below.
INGREDIENTS
Ø Boneless chicken- 250gms(cubes)
Ø Onions – 2(big)(cut into cubes)
Ø Capsicum – 1(cut into cubes)
Ø Green chillies- 6
Ø Garlics- 10
Ø Soya sauce- 2 tbsp
Ø Chilli sauce- 2 tbsp
Ø Vinegar-1½ tsp
Ø Tomato sauce-4 tbsp
Ø Salt
Ø Pepper powder-1tsp
Ø Oil- 1cup
FOR MARINATION
Ø Cornflour-3 to 4 tbsp
Ø Maida-4 tbsp
Ø Ginger-garlic paste-2 tbsp
Ø Egg white-1
Ø Soya sauce-2 tsp
Ø Chilli sauce-2 tsp
Ø Salt
Ø Pepper powder-1 tsp
Ø Vinegar-1 tsp
FOR
GARNISHING
Ø White sesame
Ø Spring onion
HOW TO MAKE CHILLI CHICKEN
Chilli chicken is a popular chicken recipe
from Chinese cuisine. This easy-to-make dish is very popular in India. It is
made by combining boneless chicken cubes with corn flour, white flour, soy
sauce, chili sauce, egg, pepper, ginger–garlic paste and fried. Then those
fried chicken cubes are cooked with onion, chopped garlic, capsicum, vinegar and
all the sauces making a delicious dish.
STEP-1:
Marinate the chicken cubes with ginger-garlic paste, corn flour, white flour,soya sauce,chili sauce,beaten egg,and pepper. Keep aside for minimum half an hour.

STEP-3:
After half an hour marination fry the chickens and keep on a tissue paper or absorbant paper.
STEP-4:
Heat oil in a pan and saute chopped garlic and green chillies for a while. Then add onion cubes and fry for a minute. Add capsicum and saute for sometime till the capsicum become soft but not overcooked.
STEP-5:
Add all sauces and chicken cubes and mix well. Take one table spoon corn flour and mix it with water and make a thin batter. Add it into the chicken and stir for a while.
