CHICKEN BHUNA MASAALA
Chicken
bhuna masala or bhuna chicken recipe is a famous Indian chicken dish which is
popular all around the world.
Chicken bhuna masala is a “dry curry”, which means the masala clings on to the chicken.
Chicken bhuna masala or bhuna chicken is a simple and delicious chicken recipe which is sauteed well in chopped
onions, chopped tomatoes and curd till it slowly cooked to get that saucy
gravy. Extra water is not needed for gravy in this recipe. Thick gravy comes
out from the moisture of tomatoes and curd.

INGREDIENTS:

METHODS FOR PREPARING CHICKEN BHUNA MASALA
1. Wash chicken and keep aside. Chop
onions and tomatoes. Make ginger garlic paste.
2. Heat 4 to5 tbsp oil in a kadhai.
Add whole garam masala in it. Add cumin seeds and let it splutter.
3. Add ginger garlic paste and fry
for 2 minutes till the raw smell of ginger garlic disappears. Then add chopped
onions and saute. Fry the onion till it slightly changes its colour.
4. Add red chillies and chopped
tomatoes and fry for a minute. Then add chicken and fry it with onion and
tomatoes for 2 minutes.
5. Add coriander powder, cumin
powder, red chili powder and turmeric power and mix well. Cover the lid and let
it cook for 10 to 12 minutes with low to medium flame.
6. After 12 minutes remove the lid
and stir. Add curd in it and mix well. Again cover the lid and let it cook for
another 10 minutes. The chicken pieces will cook with the moisture of curd and
tomatoes. Water is not required to add.
7. After 10 minutes remove the lid
and check the chicken whether it cooked properly or not. If it is not cooked
then let it cook for another 5 minutes.
8. Remove the lid and saute the
chicken. Now add kasoori methi and mix well. Chicken bhuna masala is ready now.
9. At last add little cream. Garnish
with chopped coriander leaves and serve hot.
LEARN HOW TO MAKE CHICKEN BHUNA MASALA STEP BY STEP
STEP-1: Wash chicken. Chop onions and tomatoes.
Keep aside.
STEP-2: Heat oil in a kadhai.
STEP-3: Add whole garam masala and cumin seeds init.
STEP-4: Add ginger garlic paste and fry for a while.
STEP-5: Add green chilies and chopped tomatoes. Cook it
for a while.
STEP-6: Now add chicken pieces and fry for 2 minutes.
STEP-7: After frying the chicken for 2 minutes, add
coriander powder, cumin powder, red chili powder and turmeric powder. Mix it
well.
STEP-8: Mix well all the masala with chicken.
STEP-9: Cover lid on the kadhai and let it cook for 10 to 12 minutes.
STEP-10: after 10 minutes remove the lid and add curd.
Mix it well.
STEP-11: Again cover the lid and let it cook in the
moisture of curd for another 10 minutes.
STEP-12: Remove the lid and add kasoori methi and
garam masala and mix well.
STEP-13: The chicken dish is ready to serve. Garnish
with little cream.
STEP-14: serve hot with any Indian breads or rice.
